S4TE 2.0

To help biologists to identify putative Type IV Effectors (T4Es) from complete bacterial genomes, we developed S4TE 2.0, an online bioinformatics suite of tools. S4TE 2.0 predicts and ranks candidate T4Es by using a combination of 14 sequence characteristics, including homology to known effectors, homology to eukaryotic domains, presence of subcellular localization signals or secretion signals, etc.
S4TE 2.0 generates a score and sorts the best T4Es candidates.

S4TE-EM

S4TE-EM is a modular software and the user keeps the possibility to adjust various parameters such as the selection of search modules and the weight of each module.

S4TE-CG

S4TE-CG allows the comparison of putative T4Es repertoires among up to four bacterial strains. The software identifies T4Es orthologs between compared strains and returns the Venn diagram and a list of genes for each intersection.
